About Indah Bulan....
Indah Bulan is a Los Angeles based landscape architectural firm specializing in residential design.  There are two partners, Stephen Swafford and Michael Rodriguez.  Stephen is a classically trained landscape architect and Michael is a master gardener.  Together they strive to create gardens that are functional, creative, and environmentally appropriate. 

Stephen, after graduating from Mississippi State University (in 1987) with a Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture moved to Birmingham Alabama where he was a conceptual designer for Greiner, Vare & Partners, Inc.  He was hired by Elliott Maloney in California where he designed parks, master planned communities (for Eli Broad) and municipal projects.  He started his own Los Angeles practice in 1992.
