FIELD NOTES:

Francesca has truly been a blessing in our life. She has appreciated our desire to create gardens for the spirit from day one. Her thoughtful appreciative ways continue to inspire and bless us, and those who visit her garden. Get this! We were introduced to Francesca by two separate friends, who did not know each other! I would certainly say that there was spirit in this meeting. We started creating outdoor rooms for Francesca in 2002. Our first project was to create a special path to her hidden front door, and to create a shady garden she could use to entertain. Next, she gave us the task to tame her "wild side" (the wild side of her garden that is... ). In that area, she wanted a Medicine Wheel which is an ancient Native American spiritual tool used to hear ones' spirit. (A Medicine Wheel is laid out with the path of the sun, divided into four main quadrants each with a specific color to represent its meaning. One always enters in the East, just like the Sun rising and is colored yellow this symbolizes Air; the South, which is Red symbolizes fire and passion; the West which is black symbolizes water and emotions; North which is White symbolizes Earth and wisdom.) To read more about the Medicine Wheel you can visit this website for more information   Francesca has also asked us to help redecorate a few rooms in her beautiful old Spanish Hacienda.

We are grateful to this fine lady for not only supporting our mission... spiritually infused design, but also for inspiring us and reminding us to let our creative energy flow freely. Below are some photos from her garden, enjoy!
