~ Special Features in Gardens ~

Vintage Iron from Paris flea market; Casa del Arroyo; Photography, Michael A. Rodriguez

Creating a special garden takes more than arranging plants thoughtfully. Adding a special feature to your garden makes any pretty space a pretty exciting space! Special features can be art, sculpture, perhaps a mirror (that reflects something interesting), a fountain, trellis or even something smaller like a bird feeder or wind chime. Just like your family room, adding accessories that mean something to you will provide character to your outdoor room and they are sure to draw attention and compliments! Think of your garden as a room, or as we like to create---several rooms within a garden.

Below are some ideas of what we at Indah Bulan do to add character to the gardens we design and build. You may also enjoy seeing our Vision page and Landscape and Garden pages for more ideas! Remember special features bring your garden to life!
